Steve and I have been Pastoring together for 22 years at citywestchurch in New Plymouth. Prior to this we also ministered in the Hawera Assembly of God for 13 years. Our 4 children are married, and we have 9 beautiful grandchildren.

I was ordained as an Assembly of God Pastor in 2011.

I have an unfading passion to see women become all God has called them to be and for them to know their exceptional identity and purpose in Him.

In my home church setting, I am a part of the pastoral leadership team. I have a particular passion for prayer, and I also serve young mums in the community by leading the mainly music group. I have been Coordinator of the AGWM since 2010 and I have had the privilege of leading and championing the women in our movement through this time.

Prior to holding this National position, I was the Regional Women’s Leader for the West Coast, for several years. I have counted it such a privilege to do what I can, to connect and build the women in our movement. I have a tag line that says as women we are “Weaving a strong future together”

My heart specifically has been to strengthen women who carry some form of leadership ministry.

There are several initiatives that have been developed to enable this.

We hold a leadership conference for women, called “Higher”, every 2 years. This conference has helped to create national unity with our women in leadership and reinforce regional and local church connections.

There have been leadership training days held in regions called “Sharpen” to create training opportunities that are both geographically and financially accessible.

And finally, there are smaller more intimate ministry weekends called Cherish, where our women pastors and pastor’s wives have a tailor-made space to receive support, encouragement, ministry, and instruction. I acknowledge also that this ministry could only happen with the support and effort of an exceptional team of Regional Leaders that work with me up and down the Nation.
