What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Chaplaincy New Zealand was formed by the Assemblies of God to promote Chaplaincy as a powerful community ministry within New Zealand. Since those early years, we now have chaplains serving in hospitals, hospices, schools, prisons, the armed services, sports teams, businesses and factories … in fact everywhere people are in our communities.

As Jesus reached out to “The woman at the well” our chaplains take the “presence of Christ” with them wherever they go.

We exist to PROMOTE chaplaincy as an excellent way of reaching people within the community, to TRAIN chaplains to be effective ministers in the church and the community, to RELEASE individuals in active community service and to SUPPORT our chaplains as they serve.

Chaplaincy New Zealand works in partnership with Alphacrucis to ensure our chaplains have the best practical training available. We also run a conference at the beginning of June each year, which provides high class input at a ministry and leadership level covering topics very applicable to chaplains and those in ministry positions.

We will also be launching short professional development courses to assist our chaplains and ministers to continue to grow professionally. In addition, our regional networks seek to provide support and pastoral care for our members.

Peter Tate

Chaplaincy New Zealand Director

My name is Peter Tate and I currently serve as Director of Chaplaincy New Zealand. My introduction to chaplaincy came through my wife. Her attending the first Alphacrucis chaplaincy course held in Dunedin, opened my eyes to the ability of chaplaincy to open doors into the community in ways nothing else can. I saw how effective a listening ear can be … people are longing for someone to take the time to hear their story. As she began a new ministry in chaplaincy within a local caring organisation, I saw how she could reach people I, as a Pastor, would never reach.

A few years after that the Executive of the Assemblies of God asked me to take on the role of leading Chaplaincy New Zealand. As I have been in this role, I have witnessed the many champions of faith within Chaplaincy New Zealand making a real difference in the communities in which they work. Our chaplains are doing an amazing job of taking God’s love into places the church has often struggled to reach into.
