Paul White

Paul is married to Melanie and they have three adult children, Ella, Noah and Ahryn, all who actively serve both in the Assembly they lead in Levin, and other churches in Wellington. Paul grew up attending a Baptist Church in Auckland, but it wasn’t until he left home to work at Forest Lakes Christian Camp in Otaki and started attending the Levin Assembly of God, that Paul and his wife Melanie committed themselves to following Jesus and had a dramatic encounter with the Holy Spirit.

After 6 years of building a growing youth ministry at the Levin Assembly, now LevinLife Church, Paul was asked to step into the Senior role, to bring health and stability to the church they had inherited. Soon after this transition in 2010 Paul was asked to Chair the local Levin Christian Churches ministers gathering, bringing unity, purpose and a growth in fellowship & prayer to the team and Churches of Levin over his 6 years. He was nominated to Oversee the Wellington Region of the AGNZ in 2023. With this experience and over his 20+ years of ministry and church leadership, Paul has often found himself in positions of providing wise advice, building faith, credibility and trust in and through the Church.

With this, Paul is passionate about the flourishing of the Church and our need to always do things well, the need for good governance, for healthy and flourishing Ministers & churches and our need to always be contending for the Holy Spirit, his presence, power and gifts to always be active in and through the Church. Having always been passionate about the profile, health and future of the Church and our Movement, Paul is also active in both Pastoral & Leadership coaching, coaching both Ministers and Eldership Boards. Functioning in his Apostle, Prophet, Teacher APEST gifting, Paul is deeply passionate about the health, flourishing, stability and ongoing ability of every Church to function successfully in its mission.
