ASSOCIATE FIELD LEADER OF OM IN FRANCE
The Bourns are working with Operation Mobilisation in Nantes, France. Simon is the Associate Field Leader for the work. His key focus is to strengthen the existing churches through evangelism training and mission mobilization. They also work with the youth in inter-church events and short-term mission experiences.
In the western region of France there is approximately one evangelical fellowship for every 70,000 inhabitants. The vision is to see a network of simple churches planted.
Like other nations of Europe, France is reaping the dire results of over two centuries of secularisation. Over 43 million French people have no real link with a Christian church.
